I like it too, it looks like the awakening of that little flower on the upper side, Good Job!

I don´t consider a problem to center the main subject of the picture. But, in my opinion, pictures of nature in colors are better than B&W. Anyway,+4/5

Marielle, This is beautiful. I love the contrast between the soft flowers and the thorns. The B&W works really well.

NIce black and white, when I first look at this image I didnt like it, but you look at it a lil longer you start to understand it... Good solid black and white, nice contrast between bottom black and top white... and the flower has the best of both worlds with good black and white tones, nice shot, well done.

This is very interesting and I like what you did with the black & white. Nice lighting and details! :)

You tried to get a very difficult lighting shot here and even though the composition works ok I think the flower suffers by being in the middle range between the extreme light and dark areas. You might like to try moving to the left on this and having the flower backlit and to expose the flower itself correctly and by doing so, the thorns, etc. will still be silhouetted. I learned a long time ago that instead of trying to expose the whole shot correctly in these situations to expose the important subject correctly and try to work from there. Hope this helps. Still a good shot. :)
